Produced in the proficient Orfeus™ system, using barley grain as a vehicle for high-throughput production of recombinant proteins, ISOkine™ is a new option for basic and applied medical research, cell culture media and diagnostics. One major advantage of the Orfeus™ system is provided by the high-efficient protein machinery with eukaryotic folding and similar glycosilation patterns as in mammalian cell systems but under animal-free conditions.
