The ambassador of India to Iceland Hon. Mr. S. Swaminathan visited the ORF Genetics Green Factory August 19th. The company Chief Executive Officer Björn Lárus Örvar and Vice President Júlíus B. Kristinsson met with Mr. Swaminathan and gave him a tour of the production facilities. Mr. Swaminathan showed great interest in how ORF Genetics combines biotechnology and renewable energy for producing recombinant proteins for medical research, cosmetics and medicine of the 21st century.
