Yes. The native eukaryotic folding and glycosylation machinery of barley cells produces proteins with a conformation and activity profile comparable or superior to mammalian-expressed alternatives. Each batch is tested for biological activity using cell-based proliferation assays, and bioactivity data is provided with every lot.
Endotoxins trigger pro-inflammatory responses that interfere with stem cell proliferation, differentiation, and downstream assay accuracy.
